The Texas Mexican Railway

Hi I am looking for a site or forum, or even an individual who focusses on the Texas Mexican Railway.  I am in the United Kingdom so internet resources are kind of critical.  I am not aware of any books on the line, although there is an Extra 2200 South article on the locos which is online.

I'm particularly interested in rolling stock in the 1970-1990 period which admittedly covers a lot of things. Composite boxcars to GP60s.

I have an interest in the TexMex and was considering doing a small exhibition layout to take to shows using it as a theme.  I'm a big fan of Peter Norths Rock Island layouts and want to do something like that.  I have a couple of the new Atlas GP9's and am working on cutting the new windows in the high nose  that is unique to the railroad.  I can gather up what I have and send you a compressed file or a Memory Stick.  Micro Scale Decals makes decals for the Loco's and Freight so marking stuff will not be a problem.  If you want you can contact me at work at Joe@Micro-Trains.com or my home email   Shipsure2003@yahoo.com if you have any questions or need help.

My interest in TM would be in either on a Peter North style layout, or a shelf type layout with a nod to Lance Mindheim, maybe though I do not know much about Corpus Christi and do not know if there is water or canal-side trackage like Miami. 

The Peter North style format appeals more, but the TM in latter years I believe ran one big train in each direction daily so I wonder whether a small train with a single GP and a few wagons might look out of place.

... if you mean the 'extra' sets of number board and side windows, it was an arrangement so that the whole crew could sit in the locomotive and so save on using a caboose.  Apparently the MoPac used a similar arrangement on some passenger geeps, but this one at least lacks the side window of the TM unit.
