LOL!

What's with the chimney bricks at the bottom?  They go all wonky!

It's the horizontal lines of the brick fighting with your screen.

If you look at a larger version of the picture, it's gone.

I believe this falls under Moire effect.

Trees are a little short, but they are also up on a hill. Any foreground or stand alone tree will be a bit taller.

And they are basically high rise condos for the spiders in the summer.  :|

They're also 20 years shorter than what Ed's used to.   :ashat:

There's much wisdom to what you say.

I like how you put in the low foliage that grows around the outskirts of treels When people plant tall trees and then leave short grass all around them it looks like a public park.
Now ... what are you going to do with that backdrop?

Don't even care if they look that great, this is already more trees than I've made my whole life!

Many more to go. Only have like 10 pair of tweezers, so can only make that many at a time. Plus ran out of spray paint.

On of my favorite layouts here and one that makes me want to quite the shelf layout and copy!

Glad to see your updates!

Do you catch your eyes being drawn to the end of the backdrop? Thats what my worry is. Not at the final scenery stage yet but I do time to time find myself looking at it.

^ Same.  Maybe a couple of trees out front of it to distract your eyes?

Otherwise, it's hot.

I wondered about incorporating the smokestack into the end of the backdrop. But certainly a beautiful layout.

As much as I love your work, Chris, I am consistently drawn to the lawns on those houses in a bad way.  They're just painfully green and flat.  For my sake  :) , give those lawns some contour, fences, bald spots, plantings, a swing or pool, something!  It hurts my eyes...

Well the smoke stack is there to hide things a bit from the city side. The backdrop is 3/4" thick melamine with a 1/2 round dowel at that end to smooth it out. I could do a bunch of trees at the end, but there is a man door right at the base of the stack. Guess I was leaving that open for access, but I could just stuff a "blob" there.

The yards... give me time man!  :P

Unless you're planning to do a lot of photography from that angle, I wouldn't even sweat it, bruh.  That layout is already on a whole other level of awesome.

In the end, since you're the one that has to look at it all the time, decide what looks right to you.
