This bridge is awesome!! A master piece indeed of the highest quality of craftsmanship. :o :o I really enjoy seeing bridge work as they are my favorites when it comes to structures I think there is nothing better than a well crafted bridge especially a truss bridge when it comes to railroad structures. This is better than anything I've seen even in the larger scales!! 8)

Mark, to even begin to do it justice, your bridge deserves separate thread in the "Best of" section of TRW! Outstanding!  While there are many other examples of great modeling in here, yours stole the thread.  :)

Wow, simply stunning work Mark.  :o  :o

Well, I spent the week beating up this otherwise good C40-8W.   :D

Cheers,
Brian

Simply awesome!

Attached, hopefully, is a shot of a small, N scale, experimental, layout I built to test the reliability and operating characteristics of Atlas Code65 track. I am happy to report everything runs very smooth, the track with realistic tie spacing looks very realistic and because the railroad I model is the IC, the ballast color is pretty close to the limestone they use. Included but not easy to see, is a bridge rectifier under one of the straight sections of track on the straight leg of the wye which acts as a reversing section for the wye. I usually use a battery power pack to run it.
This was built to be one end of an around the walls layout in the event we move to a smaller space when I retire.

I just completed a wooden shed and purchased some Monster Model Works brick for a B&O MOW shed I sent them a DXF so they can cut the building out for me. I also am eagerly awaiting the B&O Intermountain F7A and B they got a pic up on there site.

WOW great work again this week boys.

Brian always love your loco's.

Mark that is one sexy bridge.

As for me, more track laying at the club as well as lots of testing "running trains" best train length is up to 25 cars but today i did run a 100 car train with 5 locos for 30 min with no problems.

Started with the yard

And started the track for the port. The port will be added to the side of the layout about 6" out.

Mark, that bridge almost makes me want to just give up  :scared:

Well, at today's show, I was reunited with my little Grace Whitcomb.  It still has the same fried decoder in it that it did when I last saw it.

No modeling for me for the 23rd consecutive week. I did assemble some Micro-Trains 1027 body mount couplers, though.

Hmm... I just completed
a model of the Empire
State Building out of
toothpicks...

Two scientists create a teleportation ray, and they try it out on a cricket. They put the cricket on one of the two teleportation pads in the room, and they turn the ray on.
The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.

It's no bridge, but I did get a lot of work done today for the Middle Loup return loop.

He asks excitedly "Did you say Ménage à Trois?"
No, I said "Ed's Law."

Been making offereings to the model gods?

I want to finally start building the "tree tunnel" that I want to mask where the trains enter and exit one end of my layout. Tried the MRC fiber clusters for the first time, and didn't like it. So, I decided to see what it would look like with WS fine leaf foliage over it.

I need to upgrade the other trees on the layout, now....
