Oh yeah one last request how about some 60's VW's  8)

Both VW beetles and buses of that vintage were already produced in plastic (by Wiking)

Actually virtually every incarnation of the beetle has been produced in plastic. IMU did the early split window, Wiking did both the single rear and modern versions,

Hmm... let's not get too
picky...

GHQ still makes a garbage truck http://www.ghqmodels.com/store/53018.html
That one is too new.
Actually the one that Showcase miniatures used to offer was ideal for us transition era modelers.
Why not bring it back?

I have to assume the request for VW models from the 1960s was a joke, but if not, you can find 9 models here including those that Peteski mentioned:  http://nscalevehicles.org/resources/era_1960-1969.php

And if you need a few left from the 1940s and 1950s, here are the ones Daniel was referring to:  http://nscalevehicles.org/resources/era_1940-1949.php and http://nscalevehicles.org/resources/era_1950-1959.php

And if you want to be a bit more modern, here are some from the 1970s:  http://nscalevehicles.org/resources/era_1970-1979.php

Volkswagen models are well represented in N scale, and three more are on the way from Lemke.  http://www.lemkecollection.de/shop/index.php?page=categorie&cat=229

MarksMetallclassics (sp?) also does numerous incarnations of the VW Transport and Bug, including oval and split window, and cabriolet.

It would be great if some state-side concern would become a regular importer of that company's line of products.  While its tractors and construction equipment (grader, numerous crane options...) have a Euro feel, they're older designs and would be a good stand-in for those of us who model the 60s. MMC also has a line of circus wagons and components (like a small big top).

BTW, if that Jeep is the Demented product, it looks a hell of a lot better in that photo than the product photo on their website.

All the ones I see around here (in West Michigan) all have a large MACK emblem in the grille which is why I said Mack. :D

I do like a nice Willys MB.
I'd love to see one made with options for covered, uncovered, windshield up/down, .30cal, .50cal, recoilless rifle, and of course a 1/2ton trailer.
