Kadee Micro Trains 56092 Western Maryland Five Pack

I have a question about the Kadee Micro Trains 56092 Western Maryland 33 Foot Rib Side Twin Hopper
five pack.  I purchased two of these five packs back in 1984-1985, both had the same car #'s:
10140, 10259, 10372, 10725, 10800.  These cars have been runners, when I look at the boxes these
came in, I see that I have five boxes with Kadee price labels 56090 $8.78, and five boxes with no price
labels.  All ten boxes appear to have the same insert with 56092.

Does anyone know if there were two issues of this five pack?  One with price labels and one without
price labels?

It was issued once, in December 1978 and was discontinued in September 1992.  Given the length of time it was in stock (due to incorrect black paint?), it's possible that all of the cars were not priced/shrink-wrapped for the initial sale and were done as demand required.  Single cars were issued in December 1998 and April 2002, and they were painted in red oxide.

I have an unopened shrink-wrapped 5 pack (56092) that does not seem to have the price labels. (Same car numbers).
The 2008 Sootsman/Armstrong price guide (#79) does not seem to indicate 2 separate runs.
It lists an original price of $25.25 and a current (2008) value of $111.00.
