Here are a couple new Photos. I slated the sides back and gave it more of a slope. I think it might need a little bit more of a slope though. Rock placement is going to be very hard.

I think the slope looks pretty good now, but the rock placement looks forced, as shown.  Do you have any prototype photos of the type of scene you'd like to capture?

I could not wait any longer! I had to see what something looked like on the tracks! I have also been using more Sculptamold and finally have the rock placement I wanted.

Hey guys here with another update. I would not mind any comments on it from anyone. I have it all painted and now am ready for some turf. Anyone have any suggestions on turf or what type I should go with and what adhesive to use?

I would submit that you're not quite ready for turf yet. You need to apply much more terrain material to fill in around the rock castings. Right now they all still look like they're sitting on top of the scenery, rather than emerging from beneath it. I would also tint the Sculptamold a neutral grey-tan color using something such as powdered pigment or cheap acrylic paint, rather than paint the white surface. The coloration you have now is rather harsh and unrealistic, IMO.

Hey Dave! I am waiting for more sculptamold in the mail. I will cover the rocks on the far hill a lot better this time. I will tint it as well. Does this brown paint look better on it. I am planning on covering most of it with turf builders as well. Maybe the brown will look a little more realistic on the layout.

It looks better than that orangey brown.  I'd cover as much of that color as you can.

After covering up the Orangy with the brown paint it looks great with a orange under tone popping up at points. I was able to get some turf down and take a couple shots.

Much improved.  As you progress you might try mixing a couple of complementary shades of ground foam togetehr to break up the carpet look.

It is looking quite nice.  I agree with the suggestion to add some tones to break it up, and maybe a light wisping of neutral gray on the things to tone down the greens (cover the track with tape).

Ballast and some rock debris would really add to the scene, especially that first photo.
