Atlas GP7/9 shell on LL GP18 chassis?

Hey guys,
Will the Atlas GP7/9 shell fit onto a LL GP18 chassis? I messed up painting the GP18 shell (rattle cans are tricky, and getting impatient doesn't work too well), and so I was wondering if I could replace the shell with an Atlas one?

Should. I used an Atlas GP9 on a LL GP20 chassis for a low nose GP
Can't model worth a darn, but can research like an SOB.

I know it works the other way as I have a low nose GP-18 on an Atlas chassis so it should work. Assuming it's not one of the plastic framed ones anyway.

I have a bunch of Atlas shells on the old Life Like GP18 chassis. It wasn't a big deal getting them on,if I remember,it only took a few file strokes to fit the chassis in the shell...
