A newly tooled locomotive in 2013 would be anything but DCC ready?  I must have missed something.

I have been sitting with baited breath on the diner.

SW1500 will be good as well.

That is very good news!

But I'll hold my enthusiasm until we get more verification...  I made the mistake of believing one of the "insiders" at Walther's about the SW1200's accepting a "saddle" type decoder like the RS2's (I then pre-ordered two of 'em based on this person's word) and when they arrived?

Ah... No. :(

What, no sound?

I had forgotten about the plurality of the headlight(s).  To the barricades! ;)

Best wishes, Dave

I want anything except a Pennsy diner................... (Ok, the Canadian Pacific guy had to say it)

A HW baggage woud be nice; especialy if it's different than the old Riverossi model.....

Now; who do we have to bribe for a single window heavyweight coach ? Really... seriously..... (LOL)

(I know it's a technical issue..........)
Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!

You must have been hiding under your layout to have missed the lengthy (and even somewhat tumultuous) discussion of the DCC compatibiluty of this model in this multi-page thread https://www.therailwire.net/forum/index.php?topic=29948.0
