So, last night, I spent some time in the layout room, but took a breather from making construction progress.

It was time to do some straightening up and prepping for the next push.

So, for example, I went from this mess.

To this, slightly smaller mess.

Unless supplying an after photo of items in said original mess that clearly shows their reorganized state, changing their location simply qualifies for us to assume you didn't actually straighten up  anything, but merely relocated said mess to another place in your domicile.

This is the man cave version of shoving all the items on the bedroom floor into the closet or under the bed.

Now now, I actually threw some stuff out and put a bunch of junk away (where it belongs on shelves).
...
And some I just pushed out of view. Lol.

Ok, progress continues.

Cork is down.

And the promised overall room view.

No, Cork is in Lancaster. You should know that. Bad SPF, bad.

And so named because it was adjacent to the Armstrong Cork Flooring factory property.

Why you no put in some elevation for underpasses and such?  York ain't that flat, and you know it!

And by the way... is this the station you need?

Yep, that's the station.

And I think an inch of foam should account for the relatively minor undulation close enough to the tracks to be included.

Don't worry, I'm going to 2" and 3" over on the other side.

And... Just as things were moving along nicely... I go downstairs to an inch of water tonight. FML.

But a HUGE thank you to @chicken45 for coming over and helping to bail out.

I think everything will be ok after a few days of drying out.

Just remember folks, water happens, make sure you plan for it with waterproof containers and water resistant construction.

Water doesn't need to happen though if you can find the source of the water's path in and mitigate it.
