So, is anybody gonna send that "Perfect" HO model of York?     make it quick or I'm gonna get started on BANKS or LEMO first!  :)

:-)

Well... I'm not actually as hard up as it'd seem. I have a friend who did one years ago that's going to sell it to me. It's admittedly a little rough, but I want to see what I can do with it before I convince anyone else to spend any time on the project.

I just realized... nothing feels like the promise of buying a case of track and cork at the hobby shop.

*****'s about to get REAL in my basement.

Also, found this great article on the bridge that's going on the s curve. I was having a hard time finding info about it, until my friend told me it had a name: "black bridge". A Google image search later and... http://www.ydr.com/story/news/history/blogs/yorkspast/2015/05/29/black-bridge/74059670/

Haven't bought one yet...and frankly I need wood towers anyway!  But...  LEMO tower's already been done:

Huh. Didn't realize that was also LEMO. Wasn't there something incorrect about the roof or something?

Hadn't heard that.  Are you thinking of the NSA ALTO tower kit with the jacked up dimensions?

I think every town has a "black bridge."  That's where we used to go in high school to have parties.  Well some kids.....I went to watch trains.

Ok, well, I didn't go for the case, just the 25pack. But it still came in a box .

Heh, yep. Although, for me, it was the Delair over the Delaware, and I was too young to go to parties there before we moved.

So, last night, I spent some time in the layout room, but took a breather from making construction progress.

It was time to do some straightening up and prepping for the next push.

So, for example, I went from this mess.

To this, slightly smaller mess.
