Why don't you want to model the NCR anymore?

I wouldn't say that, just that I'm thinking about taking a breather for a project or two.

Studying the WM is starting to pay off for you :-)

Why do you think I do it?

Plot twist...  Rather than Conrail 1985, you do it Penn Central in 1970.

And I know you know someone who can surplus all the necessary equipment to @Ed Kapuscinski for a great price!

Cool! Prob also a good idea to let that bench work settle in for a few cycles.

Here's a Clerihew about Ed. K.

Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
But mention his law
and you've pulled your last straw!

Alternate version:
Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
He asks excitedly "Did you say Ménage à Trois?"
No, I said "Ed's Law."

Years to build and a few hours to demolish, been there done that.  Now it is time for both of us to start building.

I for one am glad to see the major parts survive the destruction. Saves me more up the shorts pictures while under Ed’s wood.

Out of the sadness comes a blank canvas of possibility.

Even if only the Hagerstown part survives, there are so many new things Ed can do with it.

Then again it can always be a new scale, new focus, etc.  To be honest once you catch on to something you're passionate about, there's very little looking back.  Not once have I gone down to the basement and lamented that the Juniata Division is no longer there.  Ed may feel the same way going forward about the NCRR if he doesn't rebuild it.  That's not to say there are any regrets...just that something new is often vastly more exciting than the same old thing you love.  <--  Note:  I'm not talking about marriage, LOL, just model railroading.

A new layout comprised of a passel of T-TRAK modules would make any future moves much easier.

In that same vein is that I changed scales but not road or era.  I know what I like and have have bounced around several different eras and locales over the past three decades, but I always come back to Class 1 Carolina railroading.  Once I get the Seaboard Central 3.0 far enough along, I'll find some options to allow me to also do some other things, e.g., ET&WNC in On30.

Two things...

Thanks to @DeltaBravo Windsor St is back on its feet. LOTS to do before it's operational again, but that doesn't mean I can't shoot photos.
