No problem!

I think they're all #7s.

Have you seen all the photos/plans of it?

Here's a good blog post demonstrating the completion pre-scenery.

Sadly, I sold off the Hard Hat already (you might be able to negotiate something with eric220)

Or you might be able to negotiate with Lee for a newer, stronger, faster, better version.

To the best of my recollection, all the turnouts were #7s.  There's a curved RH on the left end, and there might be a couple of #5s jammed into that end to make clearances, and in the engine terminal, since I had it on a folding shelf to allow for a closet door behind it.  (Don't get started on that closet, Berger... it's not MY problem anymore!!)

I never had DKS draw up a final plan of the yard as-built, so I don't really have a plan to reference for it.

Thank you for the reply Lee.

So in the ladder are the #7's separated by 1 1/4" track to keep track spacings manageable?

I put together an explanation in an email for a certain prolific a$$hat last night, and this morning realized it might be worth sharing with the class.

Here's the orientation image I put together for the next phase of construction. The info below references it.

Harley Davidson is in the corner under the shelf layout (in the bottom left of the drawing). It's backwards from reality, but it's the only way to get it in. I'm thinking two or three tracks to serve the plant. One for 50' boxcars, one for 60' cars. If a third will fit, that'll be for off-spots to wait until there's an actual spot for them.

It's the big plant in the center here: http://binged.it/1j8Vh7f

The real Windsor Street yard is just to the south there.

Here's the flour mill: http://binged.it/1j5EEh5. I'd like to capture the flavor of the place, but it doesn't have to be exact. Two tracks there would be good. One would probably be ok too.

The plastics plant is right around the bend: http://binged.it/1j5GtKP If I can fit two of the Atlas pellet cars in there, I'll be happy. Space for three would be amazing.

Then, going around the loop, I'm thinking it'll be a 2% down grade, whatever I can use from the Woodland scenics riser things to get me just low enough so that the "lower level" is low enough that a trailer on a flat car is below ground level of the yard. I think I need to go 2". Maybe 1.75", so we might need to get creative by lengthening the grade beyond the curve. I'm ok with that, as long as the industrial areas are flat.

The Mt Wolf Paper Warehouse is here: http://binged.it/1j5JvyJ

The crossovers the way they're setup there is actually really important, because the whole point of this part of the layout is for a local to run up out of the yard, work the industries, then turn around and run back. The crossovers there allow that.

Then, there's a tiny stretch of single track, which is an intentional bottleneck, and things go into the "staging" yard. This staging is just three or four tracks, whatever we think we can fit in 5 or so inches in front of and below the existing layout. These shouldn't be hidden, since during an ops session, I'll be actively swapping trains in and out.

The other end of the staging tracks and how they wrap back around will get figured out in phase 3.

So, on a practical note, how many of those WS Biker sets will you need for the HD factory?

Probably none... It's a pretty generic looking place, and I don't want to get all cutesy with it (as you might expect).

Ed,

Since you have the shelf layout to scratch your roundy-round itch, a point-to-point layout makes a lot of sense.  My only concern is the staging yard in front of or below the classification yard.  That might be a problem for standing room, if you have an ops session with multiple operators.  By the way, have you considered going up, since the yard is not all that high and there's plenty of room under the shelf layout.

Otherwise, I like it.  I see the plan for the monster staging yard has been downsized, which I agree with.  Will there still be a peninsula into the room from the other end of the yard?
