Ideas Wanted For the Middlesex Building Add-Ons

Hi All,
I have been talking to brethren  's where we have composed a preliminary list of add-ons specifically for the Middlesex kit. The conversation led to a decision to post the list and see what the consensus is for the list and solicit other suggestions. Nothing is concrete, but feedback is important. So here is the original short list and please sound off.

• Stairs and Entry Platform for side door (see stairs used on construction trailer) http://www.traincat2.com/d_trailer1.htm
• Main Entry Stairs & sloped Disabled Walkway (U-shaped, Resin & SS)
• Main and Side Door Overhangs
• External Freight Elevator (covers column of windows with dummy doors + elevator in trussed shaft)
• Industrial Fire Escapes
• Industrial half-turn Stairs (would require user making column of windows into doors)
• Roof Chiller
• Upgraded Windows (double hung and swing open type)
• Horizontal Panel Doors that simulate internal rollups
• Wood doors with windows & external bracing
• Window Mounted A/C

Bob, I don't have the Middlesex kit yet but there are definately some items on that list I would get.That first stairway kit and the windows look like something that could be scratchbuilding fodder.

There are a few things listed I could use on this.  Haven't even started to build it.  I've bought a few details to add including some window A/C units (don't remember off hand who made them).   Might have to put off building this until I see what you are going to produce.

I think that aftermarket upgrade kits are an excellent idea, especially for structure kits like Walthers where the window mullions and railings are way too large.  Other types of models like military vehicles, aircraft, ships, and automobiles have some pretty large selection of upgrades available.

Did not know someone makes them. Are they still available? If so, I'll scratch them off the list.

So, are these items wanted by the masses? This was the question going around and around . . . etc in everyone's mind in the discussion. While getting back in the saddle, I would like to devote the resources for wanted products. Your opinions please.

N Scale Window Mounted AC Units:

If they were fabricated out of chemically etched brass, they are BLMA stock number 609 (a twelve pack of two different sizes and six different styles).

If they were cast out of pewter, they were Period Miniatures stock number 2127 (the ex Alloy Forms product).

Cyclone vent and piping? One of those big top-shaped things with the "chinaman" hat? With holes to add styrene "piping" (various sizes depending on how big the modeler drills the hole).
Vents/fans to fill half a side window -- I  think the kit comes with plugs for windows to simulate bricked up ones, cut in half it would fit the space the fan doesn't fill.
There were all kinds of odd old-fashioned vents, fans, etc on those old buildings, because they hadn't existed when the structure was built but were added later as technology advanced, to clear out industrial smoke, heat, etc.
Maybe a "lean-to" type shed that can be placed on any side, a sloped roof that reaches just above the lower floor window height? Various doors for freight and personnel, maybe optional pipe connections for tank car unloading (fuel oil, raw materials, etc).
BTW, are the Middlesex kits already OOP?

Paul says they have a whole warehouse full of them. I bought 4 myself.

The proto may be too new but how about solid shutters? A number of buildings in Baltimore, such as the B&O warehouse in Fells Point, still have them.

Something I would like to see is more window "blanks", I wish the actual kit came with more.......not sure if brass is the perfect medium for this, but you asked!
