Totally agree - it looks like the track was laid into existing landforms - not the other way around.  Well done!

I would be really interested to know how the trees are put together.. What products were used and what method??

I model the D&H in the Lake Champlin area and have a shed load of trees to make..

Any info would be appreciated.

I used woodland scenics poly fiber until I found black poly fiber on sale after Halloween a couple years ago, I like the look of it under the woodland scenics course turf, medium green and dark green. The trees in the foreground have weeds for branch structure. The trees in the back are just puff balls.

My layout was designed as a run through, with the only operations being helpers and kingwood. Now that I'm getting more into operation, I'm adding the whitetail mine with a lift out section.
