While in Newark, Delaware earlier this week, I caught one of the tank trains en route to Delaware City. On the point were a pair of SD40-2s. Sweet.
Used as spacer cars between the motive power and the tank cars were two ancient N&W covered hoppers, both with their original reporting marks:
