Has anybody else who has received this model notice that the P in Pennsylvania on one side is almost covered up? This is none to impressive, heck they got the promotional scheme correct!  :RUEffinKiddingMe:

Why us?

Here's a Clerihew about Ed. K.

Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
But mention his law
and you've pulled your last straw!

Alternate version:
Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
He asks excitedly "Did you say Ménage à Trois?"
No, I said "Ed's Law."

Maybe it won't be so obvious IRL. Mine shipped this week.

I don't know. The pre-production pictures show the PENNSYLVANIA to be in the wrong place:

Shamelessly stolen "borrowed" from the BLW website. Seems they should have been aware.

I'm sympathetic.  I have great admiration for FVM; the NKP unit is gorgeous, as is the Central of Georgia, and their Hiawatha set is really path-breaking for the industry.  Their use of the 6-pin connector for DCC is what the entire industry should be doing.  But there's no excuse for getting this wrong, and I can see why folks would be annoyed.  They really ought to do another run of shells (or just the main body part of the shell) and replace the defective part.

I seriously doubt this would pass by Matt as the decorated samples came back, so it has to be a factory error...

I bet our manufacturers are up at night worrying about this kind of problem....
