Thanks for this guys.  Like you, I'm a modeler first and I know how frustrating it is to get spare parts or replacement for things broken, especially in Z Scale.  MTL has been fully behind me supporting this and other sites and as in the past, what ever I can do to help out with a project, I am happy to do so.  Love seeing the results.

Thanks

Joe

Joe would have to be one of the best front men for a model making company. He is not frightened to ask for help and information and to give advice in his own time when asked. I do not buy everything Pennsy that MTL produces but I now do go out of my way to support the company more.

Joe I do believe that it is from your efforts MTL is abl;e to stay more in touch with your market.

Hey Joe, you wouldn't happen to have any of the load pins for the disconnect log trucks, would you? I used the two load pins that came with the trucks to do a log load out of a yew limb, but the limb went an warped on me and cracked the glue, causing the load pins to go flying.
I could also you some of the old rib-backed three-piece wheelsets if you have them.  :D

While I rarely spend the $$ for MTL products, I have sat back and watched the show, and i gotta say, I have to add my  :ashat: compliments to Joe for not going off on everyone here multiple times. From I've heard and can see, you're a stand-up guy Joe

Email me Cody...I have some at my desk.  I have a few of the old wheels, but I don't think I have any of the axles...

Cheers

Joe

That would be something if you still have those wheels, given that they were discontinued long before Cody was born.  8)

Gotta love those prototypical details.
My good friend who happens to be one of my many "mentors" of sorts has an interesting machine which can turn the flanges down to run on Atlas code 55. Although these wheelsets will just end up under my 6 Kadee H31s since some of trucks have mixed and matched wheelsets... as in one pizza-cutter in the same truck as a low profile wheelset....

Gotta love those prototypical details ...

Prototypical for early 20th century only though.  In the era you model in, they were discontinued by then.
