Personally, I'm looking forward to all the great layouts set up and maybe pick up a deal or two if I come across any.  Who's going and what are you looking for?

I had to push back to Sunday, but I will be there. I am looking to meet up with Bryan at ESM, get the latest gossip over at Bachmann, lament the shortened NHL season with Cory over at Atlas and pretty much be a paint in the a$$ to Athearn and Walthers.

Actually I plan to photograph everything new and announced. I hope to be able to post it live on model160 - right Mike?

If anyone would like to meet up, I could always use a beer or two after the show.

I will be there.

I say that every year that I will take alot of pictures, but with 20,000 people shoving you and crowding around you its difficult. You need to be a vendor and get in there Friday and check out things. I will bring the camera again and maybe leave the kids at home  :scared:

Oh, so tempting...  It is the best show I have ever been too, and the last time I went was 1994.

Its about 4 times larger than 1994. The new Mallary building is as big as the Better Living Center. I think its over three acres now.

And I heard that there might be plans to replace the Big-E with a . . . casino!  WTF?!  Why don't they pick some underdeveloped location instead!?

I'm in for two days.  There are so many temtations that it takes that long to see everything.  My pockets will be empty and my bags full when I eventually leave.  Oh and there are many layouts to see too!

just to be clear.. we're talking about layouts at the show.. and not home layouts....right

I am hoping a local A$$hat will coordinate at the date draws near...  there's gotta be at least one worthwhile home layout up there...  for a sat pm visit...

Does anyone up there do op's or have a basement empire?

I'm planning on going Saturday.

My big decision is to drive up the night before or get up real early and drive up from central NJ.
