While cutting them out use a straight edge and a brand new xacto

The double strips when down alot easier
The strips aren't long enough so you'll need like a 1/3 off the next sheet in my mind a PITA why not just make the stripes longer like 85 scale feet?!

Anywho the single strip gave me lots of hell though I ended up cutting them in half so they could stay in one piece and id have more time to straighten them out
Before they where breaking into 10 small pieces

Personality I think ill need to practice with a whole sheet of the decals so I can get them to lay on right

Hi Folks,

I am just about to get my first lining pens with multiple head options so I can do lining. When I get it working you can send them all out to me if you want. I reckon I can do a coach in a couple of minutes with the hassles of decals.  Josh I sent you the link. I know they are expensive but are well worth it in frustration in the long run.

If you check Bachmann's club magazine and go to the article on the Doodlebug, the actually call the coach a P70, even in the caption:

I took a look at that. Pretty interesting! I'm interested. Especially since I plan on pains more cars in the future.

The Bachmann doodlebug trailer looks kinda short for a P70.  It claims to be 72' whereas the P70 is 80' long.  It does have 4-wheel trucks though.

Depends on what you're after.  Frankly the MTL coach looks so nicely painted and detailed, I've been tempted to buy one and slap some 2D-P5 trucks on it...   :scared:

As for the stripes, I've been using the Microscale stripes and going very, very slowly...

The Bachmann trailer is nothing like a P70 aside from having paired windows, a clerestory roof and two vestibules.  The car has a deep one-piece letterboard which would loan itself to the idea of it previously being shallower with gothic windows that were later covered using the deeper letterboard.

Good company to buy from. They have a few paints I need (GWR Coach Brown and Coach Cream). Very reputable. I have yet to check out their lining pens.

They do seem better than the decals I`d love to see what you produce with these
