You're gonna need a B6!

I have six.  And an A5 conversion in the works!

@Birdsong, thank you and welcome to TRW. There are so many layouts, so much better than this one, here on the wire.

Please take the time to enjoy them all!

My personal faves are the Erie and Mahoning Division, and The Canal Line among so many others.

Finally got the elevated trusswork painted after track installation.   Here it is with ths LIRR #39, @eric220 's B60b one of my K4s, and an in-progress P70 coach with lots of Keystone Details stuff on a Lima coach.

Weathering to follow on the trusswork.

Coming along nicely, John.  It's nice seeing you post updates again.  Nothing like a good industrial eastern layout, if you ask me.

Some the fellas thought my bridge supports were too weak to support PRR main traffic and in the end I agree.

Drew this up in CAD and turned it into a cutout, bend and fold:

Folded it up and started adding bricks, one by one...

Shaved off the old supports from the viaduct and temp assembled:

The piers will end up painted like the berm wall and recessed into the foam as shown below.

Here's a Clerihew about Ed. K.

Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
But mention his law
and you've pulled your last straw!

Alternate version:
Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
He asks excitedly "Did you say Ménage à Trois?"
No, I said "Ed's Law."

Agreed.

I might've missed it, but what are the "bricks"?

@Ed Kapuscinski , These are the same stones I used for my berm wall cap earlier in the thread.  This is what I was suggesting for your bridge supports back when.  Many years ago I had to spend several days and nights in the hospital with my daughter for EEG testing (No worries she's fine) and while there, I cast these from the same mold I used to make the berm walls. I just poured in up to the tops of the mortar joints in the mold and broke them apart when they hardened. I probably made a couple thousand, guessing.

Now if you could find a way to sell those thin stones. Just about every store bought pier or abutment is un-usable. Mostly because everything requires a custom fit. These stones could fix that.

You got the stones  :P

Here is a shot of the bridge and painted piers.  I'm happy now.  Many thanks to @David K. Smith , @wazzou, and @wcfn100  and others!

Thanks Tom, I should have taken wider image, the piers really add to the massiveness of the viaduct and the overall berm wall.  Damn, I wish this was a full room layout so I could connect the ends of the high line to something!
