Has anyone seen any articles converting the Bachmann 70-tonner into the SP Narrow Gauge version?  I thought when that model made it to the shelves the narrow gauge community would take this on...but so far not much.

I don't have a 70T, but my 44T has similar trucks. The bulk of the truck that holds the gears is too wide to fit Z gauge wheels around it. So if it can be converted, it won't be a simple thing.

I'm afraid that, when you narrow gauge it, you'll find the hood width issue that's somewhat tolerable gets really annoying.
