Intermountains new AC releases ?

I ended up getting the newest run AC-8s without the sound.
Anyone get one of any new released AC's with sound ?
Reason I chose no sound, besides the double chuff of an articulated, I wondered if they remembered to add the constant wheezing sound from the compressor steam exhaust that only the AC's had ?
Without it, the AC's sound would be wrong.

Hey Ernie,

To the best of my knowledge, the Tsunami that's factory installed does have the "trademark" air pump sounds. If you look on YouTube, you'll see a few installs (Top Hobby Trains, John Colombo) that use the same decoder (Tsunami Micro TSU750 #826005).

I picked up 4 of the new run with sound to go with the 2 from the first round. IM used the same TSU-750 (specific for the ACs) decoder I had used in my first run ACs with the same oval speaker. Yes from the factory IM has the articulated sound enable as well as the wonderful sound of the dual air pumps. IM also has the Whistle/Air horn toggle setup on F3, so normal whistle is sounded with F2, when you toggle F3 and then use F2 you get the air horn. IMHO the factory sound units are good and depending on the price you can find them at might be cheaper (and a lot easier) then wiring them yourself.
