P&LE and Monongahela GP38s

I have been sharing this project over on the AZL forum and thought I would share it here as well. I am a big fan of the short line roads, especially those in Western PA where I grew up. The P&LE has been a personal favorite. With AZL releasing GP38-2s, I had a great base to duplicate their GP38s. I also decided to do a 2nd GP38-2 for their subsidiary, the Monongahela. These locos could be seen paired at times. This gave me the opportunity to do two different roads and still run them together. I am very pleased with the results. Both have been weathered. The P&LE a bit heavier.

All decals were done in house. I have had a request from a former Mon employee to provide decals for all 5x road numbers of the Mon GP38s. Here is the art:

If anyone would like a set of decals, please email me at rob@ztrack.com. There is no cost. They are on me!

All and all, this has been a fun project. I will have a full write up in an upcoming issue of Ztrack.
