Box car / Reefer question

I think I once saw a box car/reefer for the Bosch brewery in Houghton MI, but I'm not 100% sure that it was that brewery. Does someone of you know if such a car was ever done? Or maybe it was custom painted, hmm....

Athearn did a Hamm's car, and another that escapes my memory at the moment. Pearl maybe? Long day...

Thomas,

I did time in Houghton during grad school, and have a similarly fuzzy recollection of a Bosch brewery car. I did some searches but haven't found anything yet.

Are you familiar with the Clarence Monette history series of self-published books? He did one on the Bosch brewery, but I don't have this in my collection. The quality of his books vary and the photos are not great reproductions, but there can be some useful information in them.

Have you seen the CopperRange.org web site? http://www.copperrange.org/
There is quite a bit of useful Yooper information on there. Unfortunately the site owner Kevin Musser passed away at a young age but the site has been maintained in his honor.

Best wishes, Dave
If you lend someone $20, and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

There is a Hamm's car by MTL.

Is that the one you're thinking of? Looks nice.

Dave

No, I don't know these books but I have seen the CopperRange website. Lots of info.
My sister lives in da U.P., very nice place.

I should have mentioned that I think I saw the car on ebay, not in real life. Just in case someone's confused here, I am now...   ;)
