Thanks guys, I'm rather passionate about Alco's, but I'm sure you knew that.  Jon I will paint the contact strips, they do look out of place.  Scott, did you notice your work in the photos?  They are my only 2 weathered locos.  Maybe I should do what Mark does and line them up for mass production weathering.

Looks great Steve.  I recall years ago an article in MR on the GBW as a railroad you can model.  The ALCOs got my attention, as did the train ferry.

I remember the articles, still got them, I think it was series.  It was the Alco's that attracted me as well.  The GB&W were a very safety consious railroad, and weren't keen to have railfan's on the property, so a cab ride on the 321 was a real treat.
