Here is an engine that I got for $100.00 off of Ebay. Just needed a draw bar repair and paint.

Ok so here is the most current picture of my A-4 project. Air pumps and rear light are now applied, I still need to do marker lights, lettering and numbering, and a coal load, and I also see a spot on the tender i need to sand some paint build up down, but it's looking a little more NP-ish now.
On another note, I HATE trying to paint on white wheels. Couldn't get the drivers 100% to save my life!

Looks good delamaize, nobody (except for me) will realize how much work you put into building the cab and boiler out of brass.
P.S. I know the way you feel about the paint flaw. Up close shot of n scale engines bring out imperfections you had never seen with the naked eye.

Ernie-
The niagaras look good. You should paint the tires black.... You'll be surprised. Take it from the paint expert!!!!! Ha!

Here we go again, bring back this thread. First photo a Rivarossi Pacific with aVandy Tender from the old Aspen Models ,these tenders were made frrom European Tank Cars.
UP 4-8-4 809. This is a Foob F-E-F 1 Bachmann conversion. The prototype 809 had a centipede tender late in her career from a retired F-E-F 2 so the 809 tender could be used for a baby turbine tender. However when the tender swap ocurred locos were back to black paint scheme not two tone gray as on my model. The tender is a Rivarossi. Nate Goodman (Nato).

Here is my Oriental Limited Brass A4. I made some changes to it and my good friend Joe Valerio painted it for me.
