Can you identify the pantograph used and a source for it? ...
Oh man, every time I see that photo, just wow...
I decided to test fit the whole thing together.The underbody detail is just taped there, and it's clear that the frame will have to be painted before final assembly. As you can see, this preview cost me another handrail stanchion. What you can't see is that it also cost me both C628 frame halves. Fortunately, Atlas offers the frames as replacement parts, and I found the stanchion this time. I also found out that I'm out of CAA. Urge to kill... RISING!!!!As requested, here's a closeup of the short hood nose.There is some grain there, and you can still see some stepping. As is evident in the previous photo, however, you have to know it's there and get it in just the right lighting to see it and not just dismiss it as a shadow.
Also, because they're flat, you can probably sand down the most offensive ridges.
Eric why do you have to replace the C628 frames? Looks like the E44 is coming along nicely. Waiting for bestine to do mine. Rich
