Well I would have stained before gluing and with pieces that large would have likely done so in a large metal tray with a flat bottom and weighted them while immersed and again while drying. At this stage, post-assembly, you are going to be staining with a brush, which may mean more than one application - however that may have the advantage of a lower tendency to warp.Tim

Started installing the Cripplebush Rubber Rocks around my coal mine and Tunnel # 2. Surprised to say they are easier to install than I thought they would be. Actually a pretty enjoyable project.
