Thank you.  The old photo hosting site is gone and I honestly have not updated this post or did much work on the layout in years.  I apologize for not reviving the photos, but I am back to the heavy workload and little layout time again.  I will post specific scenes and the prototype photos that inspired them soon. 

I do appreciate all of the positive feedback from everyone.  There is still much to do, but I feel the passion for modeling again.  More to come.

I did make a little more progress with some of the structures on Railroad Street, in New Milford.  These are mostly DPM with some kitbashing with the Earl Smallshaw Tennement Row kits.  One of the businesses is a nod to the supplier of many things on this layout.  In honor of Chulvis, there is now an east coast store for FRTS, a/k/a "Feather River Trains East."  I still need to fix that fire escape ladder... :facepalm:  Streets, sidewalks and scenery still to come.

This will be the next area to get the basic scenery push in the next month or so.  It is based on Specialty Minerals, located in Canaan, CT.

I will need to embed the tracks in pavement and get more crushed limestone and dust from the prototype plant.  Then I'll fill in the hills and trees around it.

I am starting to install some anti-fall protection for the workers unloading plastic pellet hoppers at Sheffield Plastics.  Still need access ladder and cables.

Are you in that area?   I never got any photos before that unit left the HRRC.  I would like to tackle that build this winter.
