Not much since the train show the other week. Things have been busy with the funeral and a hell of a stomach bug, so almost nil was accomplished the last week or so. I did get a chance to put some paint to the NECCO building to see how it would look. I need lots of the Walthers "Caps and Columns" but MBK is out of em, and I need about 20 or so packages to finish off all the buildings I am doing. I may end up using the Monster Modelworks columns.

Been working on a few buildings over the last few weeks so that I can have them staged on the layout for the upcoming show this weekend.

I built a small City Classics gas station that I am modifying into a more modern station. I had thought of using the Custom Cuts station, but it was too big for the spot, and I did not want to scratch build the whole thing, so I am using the CC building, and adding my own pumps and canopy. The sign is just a temporary mock up as I need to build a double pole sign. The station will include an authentic Sean pissing on the side of the building. The new (bought it in April) color laser printer is doing a pretty good job on signs and billboards.

Good looking sign Ian.  What specific printer do you have?

According to this quirky site, these prices are good for just about any time between 1980 and 2000 -- or modern-day Canadian prices, per litre...
