N scale question of the week! 1 sept. 2011

Wow, well with my daughter starting pre-school this week, and myself back in college, time got away from me again! Guess I need to set an alarm or something.

Anyways, this week is a pretty simple question, what is the most unique scene you have ever seen on a layout?

I haven't really seen anything too unique in person really, the one that sticks out in my mind was years ago I don't even know where I saw it at now, and I don't remember who did it, but their was this almost 1:1 model of one of UP's engine facilitys, circa 1955. It was HUGE! and extremely detailed. The big reason it sticks out in my mind is because not only of it's sheer size, but the level of detail was incredible. I wish I would have gotten pictures of it.

So have at it! what is the most unique scene you have seen on a layout?

Maybe a little dated now, but for an 11 year old in 1984, it was the sh*t.

---------------------------------

Actually I have  two I would like to share from the same layout..

A "Big Foot" sneaking up behind a documentary filming crew from Nat Geo according to the sign on the fascia.. :o

Jason and Grant of TAPS being chase out of a haunted house by a ghost according to a sign on the fascia. :o

I thought both was funny and thought the TAPS vans parked by the house was a clever addition to the scene..

I always look in the houses on the HO modular layouts....sometimes there are some pretty hot scenes in the upstairs rooms! haha, guess we can thank Noch for that!
