As soon as I get an account, you'll all know................ Everybody wins. Now I need to step it up a notch. Website, PayPal, all that stuff. Barring that, if the site is not up yet, and if you can attend RPM (Railroad Prototype Modelers) in Lisle, IL (it moved from Naperville) on October 22nd, I should have a bunch of them available,

Any update on final price / ordering info / web-site URL ??????

Why buy a ready to roll from Bachman with less detail than you can put in a kit you get to build, much more satisfying to build it your self I think anyway.

As an aside I'm watching "Heavy Metal Task Force" and they're showcasing a Schnabel type transporter run by trucks running through South Africa.
Can't model worth a darn, but can research like an SOB.

Just a quick update, I am expecting castings this week for approval for production. The decals for the Schnabel itself are done except the artist is trying to be acurate down to an almost unprintable level. So yeah for that but I may have to put him in a headlock to actually release the art for printing. And I am not letting the Schnabel decals be held up by research for the flatcar decals or the 3 diferent caboose decal sets. That said, I could sell the kits and mail the decals later but I think it will all come on line close enough to not have to make someone pay postage twice.
I have a website domain name now, but it is just a billboard for the moment til it is all built.
So I was very optomistic in my 'soon' comments, sorry for the wait but it is gonna be a doozy.

Sounds great, are you including the caboose decals with the kit and do you know if train cat offers a kit that will work for the caboose?

The prototype car is actually on the move again after 2 years of sitting. And is heading thru Chicago on its way to Pittsburg for some refit before going down to Georgia to work for some nuclear facilities. But I'll be darned if I can find anyone or a chat group that can tell me where and when to railfan the beast. Guesses are it will go thru Eola and maybe then on the EJ&E east.
I would love to get my own shots of it and locally AND on the tracks of the fallen flag I am modeling in N!
