Somebody who has more talent than me , like everyone here , could use that motor mounted tender , and mate the drive shaft to the worm in the 4-6-0 loco . Probably more trouble than the end results are worth , but it gives you a lower tender and more weight can be added to the loco for traction .

While none of the steam stuff works for me I am really glad to see it coming out.  Maybe on another run!  Now the Santa Fe Super Chief FP-45 is a whole different story, may need a couple!  It feels to me like Athearn is really getting some momentum!
