For having had the teaser out. For how long now. I wonder if Atlas is having some possible financial issues getting it paid for.

With all the roadnames Atlas has put on the GP-7/9 I'm surprised they havent done the either of the Fireball or Speedscript from the Western Maryland. Watch...now it'll happen in 2011.

They announce more tank cars and have not released the tankers that they announced last summer. What ever happened to the C420's that were due in Dec. 2009.

The Hart Hoppers in DRGW will be nice!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm waiting on the 20,700 and the C420. The 20.7K was supposed to be here January (fail) and the C420 February (26 days left!)

That of course is pure speculation ...

I would speculate that is has more to do with this:

I'll tell you this - it says a lot when you consider that "love letter" to Sanda Kan they put on their website a few months ago....

"by the balls" is not a good position to be in....

SWEET.. 3 months, and all I have to buy is 2 Trainman Box cars....  Although part of me wishes they would announce a Conrail specific SW1500 while I've got the money to spend on such things.. ;)

Ohh Yeah.. and 90 ton coal hoppers in the standard Conrail scheme like they did in the 80s/90s.  I'd take 30 of those..

I doubt it's a money problem with Atlas, it's more likely the large number of workers who had to leave the factories in China when the World economy slowed. If you look on the shelves of W-Mart and K-Mart, you'll see far fewer el-cheap-o electric mixers, electric can openers, dial-type electric alarm clocks, irons, toasters, floor sweepers, blenders and other "small electrical appilances". A very few percent drop in factory orders means millions of "h'sing-pou-'ling" have to return to the farm. Think of the problems the Detroit auto makers have had in the last 40 years happening over-night, then you can relate to China's problems a little.

Must be at the Walmart and K-mart in the alternate reality you live in, cause it's sure not that way in the plane of existence the rest of us are in.
