Nate Goodman (Nato).                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          <table style="width:auto;"><tr><td></td></tr><tr><td style="font-family:arial,sans-serif; font-size:11px; text-align:right">From Resized Car Shots</td></tr></table>

Actually you should get the one of the Intermountain/Centralia cars, they are the right car for the C&O 1600 series coaches. I ordered three of them in C&O and one of them is getting volunteered!

Not trying to start a flame war or trash IMRC, but is there any guarantee of a Feburary or March 2010 release?  I've been watching and waiting for these cars to be released since at least 2008.  I'd love to see them, especially if they're correct for the C&O.  I know that the Walthers cars, which are really nice, are not correct for the C&O.  I would prefer to wait for the correct cars, if they're not going to continue to be pushed back indefinitely.

I just want some decent Bawlmur commuter coaches!

These would probably do for MARC's old crusty pre-Kawasaki/Comet fleet. Yes?

Ed you should try to get your hands on some Kato Budd built sleepers (PS 21B) and strip them for repaint into MARC.  I know they had a few of these at one time and one is in use at the B&O museum.

Oooh, I was thinking there was a car that was out there that would do the job, I just wasn't sure.

Mmmm... I've always liked the Kato passenger cars, now I have an excuse.

Next issue... finding some ex-BN E8s!

That I do not know, I just know they are the correct car body for the 1600 class -thats about it. I have a slew of the ROWA cars which will eventually be rebuilt/repainted, but I can't get over painting one of them Circus when I know it's the wrong car (and the right one is coming out...eventually). Who knows maybe cRapido will come out with those coaches too...

NO Ed, opening up the NCR gives you license for a new MARC line into Baltimore from York. Skip those ugly E8s and do a Baltimore-color MARC train:

Ed

Check around for one of the Broadway Limited 4 car add ons.  It has 2 of these cars, the other 2 are 4-4-2 (maybe foobie those into something).  I got an extra set just to redo the names on these cars.  Want to name them Chambersburg Inn and Hagerstown Inn.  Luckily microscale decal sets have these names.

Bryan, that's what I'm thinking of.

But those decals aren't available...

I know I've seen those decals in HO.  Maybe get a set and someone could do a shrinkray job for you.

Not that you likely could get them but the Kato Broadway Buded 21 Roomette sleeper would work well for both NJT and MARC commuter cars (as well as a few shortlines and the Circus train).

I received an advance notification from "You Know" that the IM/Centralia cars have arrived, actual contents unknown, to be posted 1/21/2010.
