A few pictures of the Fox Valley Gevos...

I had a few units sent second day air so I could check them out.

These are sweet. The run very smoothly and are nice and quiet. The paint, fit and detail are excellent.

We have a winner here.

Are the windshields glued on or is it a casting? (looks glued on)

It is a casting. No glue in sight. The front window gaskets are printed. BTW: The horn is brass.

I spy some other nice details: white corner rails, silver headlights, window gaskets, window in the nose door, separate cut levers, (and separate wire grabs of course).  But I have to ask: is the pumpkin really that red in person, or is that just the photo?

Thanks for posting them,
Gary

Gary: No, not nearly that red. The pumpkin color is right on. One day I'll learn how to actually use Photoshop.

No, I only have two of them here. The rest will come from my distributor.

I'd say it looks much closer to the real pumpkins that my Kato C44 from 2000 - the Kato looks "pastel" compared to a real one.

Looks pretty sharp.  Not too shabby for Matt's first loco.  I'll be curious to see these in person.

Got any pics of the mech. The shell looks outstanding.

Way to go, Fox Valley!  Looks great!  Any chance that an SD40-2 is your next release?  ;)

They suck; they're crap; no damn good at all...............oh, sorry; just trying to get with the spirit of how all new releases are treated............ ;D ;D ;D

Those look great; the mu's look different than I've seen before - is that one moulded piece each ? Is there a hatch door that goes on the front left as well ?

Wow; wish they'd made something in my era !

Way to go FVM ! - First impressions are looking good.
Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!
