HI

I have been waiting for these a long time!  The NSC's will beat my middling attempt at this car:

I may have Ebay this little guy when the NSC's arrive

Yes, I added some etched steps, brakewheel and roofwalk.  I have not been able to find decals for this car, or I would have made it with a more modern model.  This little guy has the proportions of a PRR X-29!

Here's one from 1980

I think that's a 2fer, so i6t should read "Here's TWO from 1980"

Micro Scale made decals of this scheme decades ago, and I thought it was still in their active product list.  I would search their database, you might get lucky.

I think, given the plain ends of this car, it might me a good choice for TrainCat to look at; including interior detail and a full compliment of decals for the 5 (?) paint scheme variations. Bob?

Hi

Good idea, but the N Scale Collector models will fill the bill for me, I am waiting for the liquid argon cars:

I don't think it is really neat and I am sick and tired over overpriced special runs for the collectors that are way overpriced and not accurate. Yea they look cool, but they are still wrong AND why don't they do these kind of paint schemes as a normal release and sell them for 12 bucks. I have utter comtempt for N scale box cars for 40 bucks each. I have a whole closet of $40 box cars that I can't even give away
I have several proto photos of the Linde box/tank car and the mt model is no way accurate. It would be allot closer on an IM box car. Get an IM box car and some decals (MS makes them) and do your own for allot less.

MS has the name in their list , but no item number comes up . I think MS no longer makes them . These are the best so far of this type of car . When you decal some with the tanks and you want to sell them to me for less than 40 bucks a pop send me a photo and I will consider it . Till then I will be satisfied and happy with the best so far .

The decals were on set 60-54 "Freight Cars #3", but it looks like they are no longer made. This was the same set that had Buffalo Creek Flour. I still have the Linde decals. There are probably still sets at shops.
