Don't know...

I plan to add window glass and some platform details to start.

Dave,

You are to be congratulated for a prized gem in the middle of your great layout.  DKS has outdone himself again.  I love it, and it already looks fantastic just plopped into place.  I can't wait to see it fully installed, detailed, and awaiting the arrival of the first Pennsylvanian.

Great collaboration.

Great to see it survived the trip 100%! I look forward to seeing it installed, although it looks right at home already!

Been busy tonight after dinner!

I added window glass, shades, people, benches, and baggage wagons. I moved the eastbound shelter west a few yards and repainted it to better match the depot. Still need to pave the parking lot.  I added a slurry of highball limestone ballast and glue dyed dark gray to represent the drive around to the freight door on the west side of the depot.

It has instantly become the focal point of my layout.  I can't thank DKS enough.

Wow, you didn't waste any time. That looks terrific! Obviously you had no difficulty disassembling/reassembling it.

Are you going to raise the parking lot a little to meet the level of the platform, or add steps...?

You may also want to extend the platform out past the freight dock a ways, and/or add a fence or some kind of railing to protect passengers from falling.

DKS, the uninstalled parking lot on the east side of the building is raised and almost flush with the platform.  I will extend the platform east toward the road.  The west side and rear is where the dropoff was, so the height is even with the deck of a delivery truck.  Not too worried about fences as safety wasn't a huge deal in 1956.  I'm not satisfied with the color/texture of the paving on the west side of the lot; I'm thinking of smoothing it out with a thin coat of light gray tinted spackle.

Yep. But on the proto, the platform itself continued a ways past the dock, making an L-shape. I was going to model it this way, but wasn't sure what final dimensions were suitable, so I'm just offering it up as something to think about.

Yep, you're correct.  I probably won't have time tonight, but I will eventually need to extend the platform westward a bit.

Additionally, I need to see if I have one more of those Atlas patform canopies for the east side of the station:

Wow Dave and Dave, that turned out really really nice.

Dr. Vollmer, how does one get to the EB plaform on the proto?
