They do custom work?
My concern is with the depot:http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Huntingdon_PRR_station.JPGhttp://www.west2k.com/papix/huntingdon.jpgIt will be an onerous scratchbuild, as there is no obvious kitbash fodder out there. I would certainly shrink it, probably to half the length.
Dave, Have you considered contacting "The N Scale Architect" http://www.thenarch.com/ They have already done a few PRR towers (Alto, AR, Harris and MG) they maybe interested in producing the station?
I'm not trying to be difficult, but if you look at that station, it's quite big! At absolute most I would want one half the length. So I wouldn't suggest the N Scale Architect do a selectively compressed structure. I could, of course, commission a kit and then proptly turn around and kitbash it!However, thinking about it, HUNT tower would be a logical move for them. Like ALTO, MG, HARRIS, and the others they've already done, it's still extant and plans have already been published. I would prefer to keep my scratchbuilding to just one of the two if possible, and it might be worth asking the question.Lance Mindheim... He really does amazing stuff with photos on structures. Regrettably, with as extensive a collection of Pennsy materials as I have, I do not have photographs of all sides of the station in a single in-service paint scheme. Up through the 50s, near as I can tell it was in a dirty brick color. In the 60s, it got the Operation Beaver scheme of white with a dark red wainscoting band.I have the skill to scracthbuild the station. Just lacking in the will department for now!EDIT: Just sent an inquiry to the N Scale Architect regarding HUNT.
Wow...that was quick. Never thought it would get out there by today!
What else you got Mike!?!
