Nothing photo worthy yet, but I've been working on a CR SD45.

Ooh, I almost forgot... This one's for Ed.

Since the roundhouse effectively blocks the view of the "escape" turnout beyond the turntable, I rigged a signal to indicate when the switch from the main to the TT is open...

I figured an amber light to indicate "proceed with caution" would be a nice touch...  It was also the only small bulb I had left!

I've hostled locomotives through that lead, so, considering its extremely sharp radius, "proceed with caution" is an understatement.  ;D ;D ;D

I have one more pair of two bays to make one more car then
comes the fun of deciding who to paint them for.I know the
center hopper is setting to high and it will be corrected. ;D

This looks like a match, but the hatches on your car need to be adjusted to be evenly spaced over the length of the car.

Caleb,

What colors are you using for the groundfoam and grass?

I'll also like to see that scene using the blue light method of sky simulation. :)

The ground foam on the ground is mostly WS burnt grass. The foam on the trees is WS green blend and "weeds". The grass is WS light green static grass. :)

But whats blue light sky simulation? I don't really speak "advanced photography methods" yet... ;)

Chris, they are both PS-2s but your picture is of a older smaller version than my model. At one time there were 6 different companys making this style of car.I can model two other versions by mounting the hatches like the car you pictured or adding  2 more ribs,3 if I want to install 100 ton trucks.Plus 1 more version by using square hatches.

Oh and one more useless piece of PS-2 trivia several railroads built their own versions I am asuming from kits.
