Tom, that is in Delmar, MD/DE, about 30 minutes northeast of Lee's.
No farms, no food. Support your local farmer's market!

At one time, Delmar was a major division point on the peninsula.  It's roughly the halfway point between Cape Charles, VA and the carfloat to Norfolk, and Newark DE at the NEC connection.  There's not much more than a storage siding, but there are some local trains that layover.  This one is pretty short, but then, the economy is too around these parts...  Eat more chicken, is my suggestion.

a good time in deed.

many thanks to Lee and his Saw of Death and to Brian for transporting the wood to Lee's.  the benchwork is in the shed which i cleaned out yesterday and scored many honey points for - but now those are gone since she saw the real reason i cleaned it up.  hopefully i can get the train alcove cleaned out and the benchwork setup this week.

i'm not sure what exactly i'm gonna do with the benchwork.  i did recently find this and it makes me think of a Creamsicle.  i like Creamsicles.

When you make someone drive 80 miles to use a saw, you tend to make good use of the time! :D

and deal with Sunday beach traffic on the Bay Bridge.  it was not as painful as previous travels, but it was a 25mph trip over the span.  and the other positive is now my car have a pine fresh scent!

i've always liked this one too:

As a professional paramedic, I will be sure to bring my trauma gear and enough rubber gloves for everybody., If we don't need them, we can make funny animals like Steve Martin used to.

I could have used you at Marty's house two weekends ago. I dropped a drill on my foot, 1.4 inch drill bit pointy end first. By the time Marty drove to CVS to get bandaids, I had drawn his helix track plan in blood on his garage floor.  My foot is still a little sore, but no broken bones.

I would imagine that after several hours of Polock Johnny's and Vitamin Y, that wasn't a "pine fresh scent" you smelled in your car.  That is, of course, unless you think your sh*t doesn't stink.  ;D

speaking of moving lumber - i just removed the last bits of the former PRR/L&HR layout - the old 1x8 section is on the floor awaiting re-purposing as risers and roadbed.  i felt kinda sad removing it, but i learned some lessons since it was my first foray into proto 1:160 scale modeling.

tomorrow is a DCUnited game, so no work on the layout, but Wednesday evening i'm hoping to clear out the rest of the crap from the room, move a bookcase, and then throw up the frames.  pictures will be presented as evidence of a layout progressing.
