I have several of the e-books. I would like to get them all eventually, and hope they do more. I want books on Thrall cars. I am Gundersoned out for now!  ;D

Well if a couple of hastily slapped together collections of freight cars changes your life, then this link will likely send you into orbit...
http://www.cgtextures.com/

This was referenced over on the MR Board (of all places!) along with a free 3-D illustrator called Inkscape as a means of building up 3-D images for background structures.

But check out that texture site... there's some good stuff there...  I'm wondering what can be done by simply kiping the highway images!

That site is awesome, and the reference materials are top notch.  Sorta like the detailed 50s freight car articles in RMJ.

Beware, once you start comparing models, it's tough to ignore "foobie" ends, roofs, and doors!
