First, a good Ashcrofting...
Actually, the officer was more interested in what we were doing as relating to the trains, not illegal activities. We actually spent about 30 minutes talking to him about the CRHS and what we were doing.
After about a two hour wait, we were rewarded with a train coming out of Enola
Notice the ditch light flashes in the top picture. For whatever reason, this engineer didn't set up his consist properly. The lead unit had ditch lights flashing on both ends and the trailing unit had it's headlights on bright.
About 30 minutes later, another train came out of Enola and was working hard to get the train moving.
Not a good night for trains, but it was still a good time. We'll have to try Stell again another time.
