Finally some rail down.

Trains I guess do not run well on ties. I put some metal thingys called rail down.

I've had a bit of time this last week to spike down in the rail in the town of Blair and Mountainview. Following shots are of a pair of GP38-2's switching the 2 industries in Blair.

Switching out Northern Tool & Machine. Spur in foreground left is to White Mountain Oil. Foreground right is the main line that is abandoned in 4 car lengths, so it is used as a switching lead.

I WANNA SEE THE BOAT MOVIE!

Not just rail, but ballast too.

Looks good man. The blue 38-2s don't hurt either... those the P2k ones?

NO Roadrailers up here!!!! Bring it over though Russ. Maybe I will have some main line track for you to run it on when you come up for Springfield next year.

Thanks for the comments guys. Going to paint the back drop tomorrow and start spreading some ground goop to get some scenery down.

Any interchanges, Ian? ;) Nice Geep 38-2s, too. What else do you have? Where does the modeled trackage strech?  ???

The only interchange is with New England Southern that serves a papermill in Ferncroft, NH.  Other than that, when CR absorbed B&M and MEC on this layout, they pretty much locked themselves in like GRS has. There is a whole nother town completed but I have not taken any photos yet.

Well how much did you have them for Russ? And why didn't you offer it...you suck as a salesman! Walthers is selling them at $58 right now.

Ian,
You were too busy eyeballing the Dash8 with sound. I tried to talk to you about lots of other things...all you heard was idling locomotive. I think our sticker price was $70, but I'm sure we could probably price match. Besides, where would you like your money to go? The Wicked Witches of Wisconsin, or the Society that keeps Big Blue alive?
(Ok, I know....whichever has 'em cheaper...lol)
Forgiven...

Hey I gots to support the boys of Wisconsin....I have family from there! Big Blue gets the rest of my money! I have to scarf up all the P2K ones as Walthers is closing them out....maybe to re-release with sound...and maybe new road numbers!? I really wanted that Dash8 as they are getting hard to find, but that would have blown almost all my Springfield money!

And I did buy a GP38-2 from you guys....its a power ID sticker...but its here!
