Well, I've painter over most of the car now with a light color to cover the silver car to match more like the photos I have.  The silver was to shinny and looked to new.  I now have to repaint the rust on the sides so I'll keep you posted as I got.  The couplers should be here soon and I need to get new 33" wheels.  Any ideas on a good website where I can get a good price on new wheels and some trucks?

Thanks Tom but I need to get parts for HO not N or Z though It's nice to see resources for the harder to find scales.

Okay, I've done some more work on the car and have one side done with what I think is a better looking weathering paint job.  Please let me know what you think. http://members.cox.net/dave.demeny/weatherProj1.shtml

I think that the rust colors are spot on.  Typically, when you have streaks that large, the roof is really rusty - not just the edges.

Okay, I must say I'm getting tired of this old rust bucket and I’m ready to move on to the next project.  I would like to get feedback from everyone and know what I can look at doing to improve (besides work closer to a prototype).  I still plan on covering with a cote of Dullcote but before I do that I wanted to hear from all.
Thanks for the input and onward we go. The images are located http://members.cox.net/dave.demeny/weatherProj1.shtml
