Here are three Boston & Maine Moguls in the Boston engine terminal on April 21, 1956. Until replaced by RDC's, B&M used Moguls extensively on commuter trains.

Notice that these are equipped with two generators and ATC control boxes. Next week, B&M Pacifics.

Notice the Fruit Growers Express cars to the left.  They are coming out of the rebuilding/remanufacturing plant of FGP which used to be located here.  Check out their critter

Monday night NS tried to instate a new form of intermodal service at their yard in Rutherford, near Harrisburg:



I don't see the idea taking off, though...

Oh boy, I can only imagine what the conductor was saying after this...

"I said 4mph to couple......not 4 car lengths to couple!!!!!" ::)

Yikes. Hope nobody was hurt. It is also sacreligious to do that to a high hood 38 like that too, especially with its heritage.

On the way home today, I caught this B&H while racing down US15. I managed to get ahead of him, and grab this quick snap shot just as he came around the bend .. there was no time to get to the other side of the crossing .. oh well

On my way to the Ravens / Bills game, I swung by a CSX hump yard .. they should cut down the poles :)
