I'm not really new, more like 'back'.... couldn't figure out why my login wouldn't work so I re-registered.   Just want to check in with all the Atlas refugees that are floating around.

The guys that love to weather stuff world-class are all over here.... most of what I finally got the courage to try with powders came from Rich Yourstone and later Tom.

I'll probably lurk more than post (have been for a while) but I'm here.

Hello  I am Rich I live in Southern New Jersey  In the Pine Barrens area, I been in N Scale for about 30 years and I have built a few small N Scale  layouts in that time. The layout I am working  on now will be a double deck layout  the upper deck will be Pennsy  Northern div. Northumberland  Pa. 1956 to 1966, the lower will be Enola- Harrisburg Pennsy 1956-1966,  Conrail-Amtrak 1979. I am a big fan of Dr Dave Vollmer work, and  of the other great modelers on the Railwire                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Rich

I am a new member to this forum.  I have a 9 x 5 layout, it is themed for the mid 50's in central PA.  It has a small yard and a branchline to the coal mine and 2 other industries.  The mainline is 42' long and has 10 industries.  There are 2 staging tracks also.  I like realistic operation using car cards and waybills.  I am located in Northeast PA.  Is there anyone out there interested in operating the layout?  If so send me a message.

Hello, everyone.  Occasionally lurk at this forum, was a regular looker at the A board.  Working on a HCD layout, my interest is the C & O in the transition era.  Occasional modeler right now.

I like to learn new techniques, and right now do not have any active modeling friends.  The forum helps with the comraderrie.  Thanks.

Welcome, Kentuckian.  I have modeled the C&O (early 1970s - pre Chessie System), so it's good to hear from a fellow C&O fan.  As for friends, I have made quite a few here on the Railwire and have been fortunate enough to been invited to ops and work sessions on layouts here in Maryland, and Railwire meets in the Mid-Atlantic states.  The annual Conrail Historical Society Rail-B-Q in Newport, Pennsylvania (the Spring 2012 event is next weekend) has turned into a quasi-Railwire meet.  There's a some good people here.  Stick around!

This forum is configured to "expire" inactive accounts after some time period - a year, by my observation. In browsing old posts late last night I noticed that your previous posts had a status of "Guest", which is apparently what happens to expired accounts. I'm curious that since it was possible to re-register with the same user name if those old posts reflect your new status, or if "randgust" became disconnected name data in the old posts. Hmm.

Hello. My name is Andrew. I hopped on board the Railwire recently due to the Atlas forum closing soon. I enjoy seeing other modelers work and sharing what I've done. I live in New Jersey very near the West Trenton SEPTA station, which shares the CSX Trenton line. My favorite railroads are PRR, PRSL, CSX, NS and Conrail. My favorite locomotives are the Baldwin RF-16 Sharknose and Budd's line of RDCs. I also enjoy genealogy and railfanning. I have a little 4' x 5', 2 loop roundy-round layout in its infancy. I look forward to meeting everyone here, sharing my layout progress and I'm sure I'll be learning from the other members too.

To my person; I live in germany, 36 years and father of three kids plus a dog & cat...modeling scale is N scale and there specially the BN (pre-merger), CP Rail and some shortlines...
