So what will Kato do now ?

There were rumers they were measuring either a Chall or a Big Boy a year ago or so . What if anything will they now do ?

Athearn did the Chall , Big Boy , FEF-2 and FEF-3 in HO , good chance for them to do all 4 in N now .
IMRC looks to be doing the Cab Forward

They won't do anything, but they'll release it with one road number and in a western road paint scheme. ;D

now ? now they can finally announce the BigBoy next Thursday with shipping in two weeks - w/o DCC and sound for $195 so they can piss on Athearns parade and to get some revenche for the SD70M !

If Kato wanted vendetta with Athearn, all they have to do is release an SD75I. Then we can all see whast an SD75I looks like when it isn't assembled using glue.

I'd imagine any or all of the following:

SD70ACe
SD70M-2
ES44AC
ES44DC
SD75I (my dream)

I'd think new steam is unlikely, or at least it'll be right on the heels of re-releases of the U30C, C30-7 and SD45.

The "scoop" is that it's an SP GS4 Daylight with/without a passenger train....

Supposedly it's NOT a new diesel....

But who really knows???
