Is anyone here interested in these cars?

Modern LPG tankcars and 4-bay plastic pellet hopper cars? I think if we plead with Red Caboose they might make them. The LPG cars could be black UTLX and GATX, and the hoppers could be grey with a variety of roadnames. At $20 each MSRP, I'd buy a bunch of each of them...I could even stand $25 MSRP each, if it would get them here. What do you think?

I've been asking for these for years, along with 86' auto parts boxcars, but no manufacturers seem to want my money. My layout is going to feature the classic CR staples of petrochemicals and auto-related traffic, so I need fleets of appropriate cars...  >:(

Yeah, I'm right with ya on the modern LPG cars... been barking (begging) up that tree for a long time! Same with the modern jumbo plastic pellet cars. And you have to wonder why there are no accurate 86' A/P boxes available.

My $$$ is on Atlas for the LPG's, and there is some speculation that Atlas may soon announce a big plastic pellet car (based on a tease in a magazine ad), and Atlas again for the 86' A/P car. IM could also pull these off very nicely. Athearn too... still puzzled by the Ethanol tanker, though I guess they thought they'd lock up this growing source of traffic.

Autos, auto parts, LPG, plastic pellets... lots of this traffic moves through southern Ontario (my area of interest).

I got 14 of the ethanol tankers(one of each number). Not real happy with the Accumates on them...they like to come uncoupled in long trains. Watch Micro-Trains come out with an LPG tanker for $39.95! ::)

I'd be up for a few of the LPG cars.
