Oh , do I love that 2-6-6-2T . Where is the BHC ? Thanks for those great shots .
Sorry for the long absence, but I've been really busy with my move and at my new job. Here's a few from my first outing around Harrisburg, on 5/21. I pulled out my big glass for a well-lit shot of a westbound at Cove:Sadly, one of the trailers was MRL 250, and this is the widest angle my big lens offers:I also got 19G at Marysville:Which offered a bit of vindication:I also swung by Enola and got a CR camp car train sitting along Rt 11/15:Within a week, the entire train had been spray-bombed grey by NS. Remember, always shoot things when given the opportunity, cause you never know when they'll go away.
Recent visit to the Black Hills = The Black Hills Railroad (aka 1880 train)They have 3 old steam locos and what they tell me is the only working old logging mallet in North America.
